I’m Mirjam (pronounced Miriam, it’s just the Swedish spelling), and I run a small home-baking business. I mainly bake sourdough bread, Swedish cinnamon buns, cakes, tarts, desserts and celebration cakes. But I also make my own preserves, such as marmalade, jam and chutney.
Everything is made in my kitchen, in a home I share with my husband and our three children, located in the beautiful countryside outside Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary. I also have 8 wonderful hens who provide us with the most amazing eggs …

I live between Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel.

I do make some gluten-free baking on request. However, my gluten-free baking is not suitable for celiacs as my products are baked in a kitchen where products containing gluten are baked.

I am happy to bake vegan products on request. However, I am not an experienced vegan baker.

For birthday/celebration cakes, I ask for a minimum of 5 days' notice. I ask for 2 days' notice for sourdough bread, other bread, tarts, etc. I bake everything to order to minimise waste.

I’m afraid I don’t. But hopefully, one day, I will.

I do deliver locally (i.e. Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel, Kilsheelan). I ask for a small fee for this service.
